    Need experts help !!

    Have created masking job for X VDB, executed and verified the data. Everything is fine as expected.

    Mapped this job to dSource, spin off new VDB with above mapped job. VDB is created and masking job also invoked and executed. In masking engine, it shows successful

    However, after verifying the data, its surprised that none of the fields are masked. Strange part is, newly created VDB shows indicator (logo) as masked. 

    I looked at logs in masking engine and delphix, everything looks fine. Is anyone have idea what went wrong and how to figure it out or way to debug.

    Hi Santosh,
    Please troubleshoot in this order.
    1. Check the connector to see if it is valid , working and pointing to the said VDB.
    2. Ensure the algorithms are accurately applied, it might be possible that no fields were earmarked for masking during profiling.

    Yes, I have verified these details.

    - Connector is valid and pointing to new VDB that is being created (using DBalias to avoid SID name)

    - The masking job that is mapped to dSource is executed manually to verify the results, on different VDB.

    The only mystery is, masking is not happening when same masking job is invoked during run time for VDB creation. Although, job is executed successfully with proper logs in masking engine.
