    Hi Team,

One query , am doing fileformat usecase with simple delimited file, when i ping ftp i could see reply as well as i can do commands like get and put in cmd.

1)How to reset the password for ftp ipaddress ,currently facing issuebut i could open in file folder.
2)How to connect with engine ,connection gets failed eventhough i was able to ping or ftp ipaddress inside and outside the source instance.
3)Any procedures available for csv file usecase - if so please provide the steps.

    Hello Anushruthi,

    1. Save the connector and edit it. You will find the change password checkbox. Once you check that box, you will see an option to use the new password.
You can also change password using api client, http://<engineIP>/masking/api-client/#!/fileConnector/updateFileConnector

    2. You can use CLI to test port connectivity from Delphix Engine to target server.
SSH to engine using admin account and check connectivity using an example below.

    msdcaas-me-6-db2-1 connectivity ssh *> ls

    Properties

        type: SSHConnectivity

        address: 10.0.1.30 (*)

        credentials:

            type: PasswordCredential (*)

            password: ******** (*)

        port: 21

        sshVerificationStrategy: (unset)

        username: ftpuser (*)

    msdcaas-me-6-db2-1 connectivity ssh *> commit

        Successful

    3. CSV file use-case will be same as simple delimited file by creating file format but with delimiter as comma (,), and rest of process remains same.

    Hello Anushruthi,
To get the Change Password box, save the connector first. Click on the pencil icon to edit the connector.

Then you can edit connector settings and test it

Another issue, I see in connector parameters is the path. The connector path should be a continuation of the FTP base location.

    Example:
    FTP base: C:\Files

    File Location: C:\Files\Source

    Connector path should be \Source

Regarding CLI access, either check with your org Delphix admin to test the port connectivity or create a support case with Delphix.

    Hope it helps.

Does it work? If not, check the log file for error on the masking engine present under Admin --> Logs.

Download the file and review the logs from bottom to top.

    Hello Anushruthi,
This seems to be some path issue with FTP.

Thanks for sharing the support case number. Please continue to work with Delphix support through the support case you created. Support can look at your environment through the remote sessions and guide you to resolution.

    Hi Anushruthi,
There is a good deal of information here on the ports necessary for connectivity: https://docs.delphix.com/docs/datasets/oracle-environments-and-data-sources/oracle-support-and-requirements/network-and-connectivity-requirements-for-oracle-environments

    Hope that helps,
