Hello Rajat-
You can provision virtual databases to a target Environment with an existing physical database, there is generally no limitation here, though you will need to keep in mind a virtualized database consumes the same compute and memory resources as a physical database, so sizing of the Environment will be important. As such, the performance concerns would also be the same as if you had a 2nd physical database instance running on the host.
Beyond this, I would also point out that there are some isolated concerns with specific virtual database operations when copied to physical, using the Delphix Engine V2P functionality, so please be aware of this concern detailed in the following Technical Bulletin:
https://support.delphix.com/Support_Policies_and_Technical_Bulletins/Technical_Bulletins/TB093_Oracle_V2P_Operations_Can_Remove_Existing_Database_FilesAs the TB mentions, this is only a concern if an existing directory is specified for the copy operation contains other datafiles.
I hope this helps! If you have other questions please let us know.

Subject: [Oracle] Creating virtual DBs on existing target server which already has a Physical DB
Can Delphix create a VDB on an existing target server which already has another physical db ?
Will there be any performance issues or any other impact on physical db if this is done ?
