    We have choose eager zeroed disk format (VMware 5.0) for DE 50, but the deploy failed.

    When we choose lazy zeroed disk format, import was done, but engine starts without configured network interface. Problem is similar to this: https://community.delphix.com/delphix/topics/delphix-5-0-setup-error

    How does the deploy fail with eager zeroing? What version of ESX? Is your Delphix OVA HWv8?

    Hi Adam,

    Problem solved, customer need to adjust affinity rules on their VMWare environment.
    ESX was 5.0, my OVA is HWv8.

    Hey Marcin, can you elaborate on how the affinity rules were causing a problem for anyone else who may come here looking for a solution to a similar problem?

    First of all they have huge latency on datastores - thats why importing of OVA fails.
    Affinity: all vmdk's on one datastore, we choose disks on different datastore.

    Good to know. As a warning, if they already have a huge latency on storage, that may pose overall problems for the implementation.
