Error while snapsync: The recovery fork GUID "null" of source database does not match recovery fork GUID of dSource .

  • 1.  Error while snapsync: The recovery fork GUID "null" of source database does not match recovery fork GUID of dSource .

    dSource: MSSQL.
    First VDB created yeaterday.
    Snapsync Policy: Hourly

    While taking automatic snapsync this morning, following error occured:


    Error
    The recovery fork GUID "null" of source database "dbName" does not match recovery fork GUID "1ABED94F-47F4-4A4E-9DD1-2E87373E804B" of dSource "abc2".
    Error Code
    exception.db.mssqlldb.sourcedb.delphix_backup.guid.mismatch
    Suggested Action
    Detach and link the source database again.
    While previous backups and snapsyncs were done succesfully. Why does this error came?

    Hello Anshul,
                        Please check if any changes happened in source database recently, which caused this issue.

    You might need to rename the unlinked dSource and create a new one.
