Hi

Trying to upload support bundle from delphix console sysadmin account to unlock the engine (was down for more than 10 days). Getting this message:

Cannot upload the file to HTTP server "https://upload.delphix.com"; (sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target).

Any ideas how to fix it?

Is your delphix engine configured to use a web proxy?

no, there is no proxy. Could be it issue with certificates? We had a similar with other product and we had to add our company's root certificate to the certificate store.

Hey Dmitrij, I did a cursory check of our certs here, and everything looked ok. I will probe with our engineering folks to see if there is something more we can see. Can you download the support bundle and extract the debug logs to their own zip? I might need you to send those to me in order for us to see what is going on.  

Are you able to successfully pull up upload.delphix.com in your web browser?

We have only seen this issue when the Delphix Engine has been configured to use a web proxy and there are some issues in the configuration. What version of the Delphix Engine are you using? Have you configured LDAP?

Yes, the website comes ok.

I've downloaded DE on Oct 17.  Landshark 2.2. Have no access to console right now, will post exact version tomorrow.. 
No LDAP. I did very basic configuration, out of the box and just changed delphix_admin and sysadmin passwords. thats it.

Dmitrij, no commands needed. Super easy. The same web page and menu you used to initiate the upload the support bundle has an option to Download. We did fix a bug for this issue in 4.2.5, but it was around an issue with web proxies. When you get the DE version and the logs, please email them to me @: hsic'at'delphix.com

email was returned as not delivered. Could you double check your email address?

did you use @ instead of 'at' ? If so, then it is likely because the bundle is too large. Extract the bundle and just send me the logs subdirectory (compressed).

Ok. We are taking a look at it. But, we see nothing in this log indicating why the cert validation is failing. Is there a network-wide proxy? If you have a linux/unix machine, can you try this and see what happens?

I wasn't clear. I do see the error in the logs, but we don't see the cause of the error.

Ok great. That answers one question for me. Back to the drawing board.

can you open your browser to upload.delphix.com and upload the whole support bundle, please?
