    Hi Veejan,

Delphix Express is limited to 25 GB of managed storage. You can read more here:

    Regards,

Thank you for this Brett. Can you please elaborate on what it means by "managed storage" Does this refer to the size of your DSources ? Or Does it refer to the size of the storage associated with the Virtual db's and changes associated with it ? Or Does refer to both DSource and Virtual DB's ?

    Hi Veejan,

The 25 GB of managed storage is a contractual limit for the entire Delphix VM, so it includes the dSource, VDBs, and all associated changes.

    Vreejan,

To augment Brett's response to your excellent question...

Delphix Express has no control over how much storage is allocated to the guest virtual machine by the host hypervisor, but Delphix Express can indeed control how much storage it manages once it is installed and configured within the guest VM.

So, as Brett explained, the 25 GB limit is for dSources, VDBs, vFiles, and all other data objects used and managed by Delphix Express.

    Hope this makes sense!

    -Tim
