Hi Team, We have corruption in one of the datafile in a VDB. Everyday snaps are going fine. We want to do block recover. Is there anyway to recover the block from the delphix backups. Regards, Adithya.

Hi Adithya.

 I don't believe you will be able to do block recovery, as the Delphix Engine does not store RMAN backups in the traditional sense. You may be able to use DBMS_REPAIR or rewind the VDB to prior to the corruption. 

 It is also worth raising a support case to ensure the corruption happened at an Oracle level and not due to a software or hardware fault within the engine itself.
