    after installing delphix engine the newtork IP's of it will be visible to the mother board network as delphix will be installed in vmware or virtualbox...?

    It depends.

    As a Virtual Machine appliance it will depend on how you set the network configuration in your. This is the same for any virtual machine and not specific to the Delphix Engine.

    In most cases, a user would define the network interfaces to tbe NATted or bridged with the physical NICs on the host which would let it communicate with the rest of your network.

    By default, the Delphix Engine tries to get an IP address via DHCP. If your VM uses a bridged connection, then it will get an IP address on the same subnet as the rest of your local network. If the VM is configured to NAT the interfaces, then VMware will act as the DHCP server.

    To understand how this works, you will need to refer to the documentation for the virtual machine host you are using.
