This happened because your Delphix Engine was unable to phone home for 7 days, or more. To fix this, click on System -> Support Logs ->Transfer -> Ok. Give the process up to 10 minutes to complete and "unlock" your system.

Ah .. just spotted the red faults(1) at the top of the screen.

system

Title: Engine trial period expired
Details: More than 30 days have passed since the system was installed on 2015-03-12T11:29:27Z. The Delphix Engine is now locked down.
User Action: Contact Delphix Support for assistance.

So I'm running the Support Bundle transfer.
What's being transferred here ... a support bundle .... what's in it ?

It's happily sat at 100% completed, but the circle is still .. well ... circling

Yep, a support bundle. When did you install this Delphix OVA? Today? Or has this one been on your system for a while. If today, I am perplexed as to why the system thinks that today (03/12/2015) was over 30 days ago.

The support bundle contains information from the Delphix Engine logs, what's on your engine, performance metrics, etc.

I only started with this yesterday, removed it all today and re-installed the three ova files in VMWare.

Should I be concerned if it takes longer than 10 mins ?
Should I mark the fault as resolved ?

The system won't let you mark it as resolved. If the transfer is 100% completed, try rebooting the Delphix Engine to clear the message.

Rebooted Delphix, came back with the green screen ... 2 procs online ... however network interface not configured ! network adapter is set to 'Share with my Mac'.  I can ping the ip address that I'm expecting it to appear on ....

That's ok. Give it a minute to finish starting all services and then see if you can access the web console.

After 25 mins it hadn't changed state .... rebooted it again .... now been waiting for 15 mins ... it is still not configured, although it is green.

You said you were able to ping the ip address that is associated with the engine, correct? Have you tried accessing  that IP in your web browser?

Hmmm. Then I am a little perplexed. Either the interface is configured, or it is not (which means you shouldn't be able to ping it). I will send you a direct message of some stuff to try.
