In the case of the Solaris container configuration, can I import it into Delphix and provision it to the target like a normal DB?

    Hi Koichi,
A Solaris Container is a virtual operating system in which you can run an Oracle database.  An Oracle database running in a Solaris container can be ingested into Delphix and then a VDB provisioned to a target Solaris Container or other target Solaris OS.  The database will retain it's configuration, which can be modified on creation of the VDB through a template, assigned during the provisioning process.

I am not sure however I understand exactly what you mean by importing a "Solaris container configuration" and then provisioning it.  It sounds like you want to provision the virtualised operating system configuration??  More information or clarification is needed.  Unless someone else can offer an answer based on your question.

    Regards,
    Gary
