A good day to all!

This is probably just a good to know question so me and my team can better understand and position how the Delphix Connector works. Of course we know that it is needed for Delphix to communicate to all the necessary Windows Environments but in terms of the communication of IPs and such, how?

That said, can I get your input on how it really works on a more in-depth level?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Mark,

You can find additional information regarding the Delphix connector following these links:

- High level understanding of the connector:
- Network requirements for Windows environments, which includes the Delphix connector requirements:

The Delphix connector is a Java based service that runs automatically on staging and target servers.
Once the Delphix connector has been deployed, the Delphix engine will use it to communicate to that Windows environment and a toolkit will be deployed to it.

The Delphix connector will use the toolkit in order to perform all the needed operations (for example discovery, mounting, provisioning etc) and it's based on Powershell scripts.

All the Windows environments requirements are explained here:

Please let me know if you need any further information.

Thank you.
