Hi Deddy,

You might want to check out the introduction thread to the express community which lays it all out - https://community.delphix.com/delphix/topics/welcome-to-delphix-express-community-forum .

The basics of it though is Delphix Express is a free to use version of Delphix, with limits on the amount of managed storage and vCPU you can use.

Regards,
Matt.

Hi,

Just want to know.

So, For example
if i want to install fresh delphix , (not express) , so according to my think,
I must installed everything that delphix needs by my self, not like Delphix Express, that already  prepared and exported to  OVA FIles.

Thanks,

Deddy, Delphix and Delphix Express are each just one OVA. They are identical, except that the Delphix Express OVA has the limits that Matt described.

Delphix interacts with databases and servers. The Delphix user/customer has to supply those. Delphix does offer a "demo environment" called Landshark that consists of two pre-configured Linux Virtual machines that can support several use cases. This environment can be used with both Delphix and Delphix Express. When customers wish to use Delphix or Delphix express with their own databases and servers, they follow the user guide at http://docs.delphix.com/ to prepare those systems for use with Delphix.
