How good can we implement Delphix disaster recovery setup ? How good can Delphix scale up in supporting such setup of disaster recovery for databases/Engine ? If we set up a replicated engine, how much % of data can be recovered safely ?

Suppose I have an Engine A and Engine B as its replicated engine. I run back to back replication job from A to B. Still we cant guarentee a 100% recovery of data right(the data in between the replication job is unsafe/cant be lost if Engine A goes down). So how good can Delphix help in getting a fullproof mechanism to save the data ?

Our Data Backup and Recovery documentation (https://docs.delphix.com/display/DOCS42/Data+Backup+and+Recovery) covers this subject at length. There are a number of variables that determine how close to 100% you can come. These include the change rate in your dSources and VDBs, the frequency of replication runs, and the bandwidth between Engine A and Engine B, as well as any disaster recovery measures in place outside of replication, such as VMware ESX clustering.

Your Delphix account team can connect you with our Solution Architects to craft a comprehensive, custom disaster recovery solution to best suit your needs.
