Hi Srini.

 There is no particular administrator initiated maintenance that needs to be performed on a Delphix Engine, any required maintenance tasks the engine should automatically perform.

 However there are some common sense maintenance that I would recommend 

- Checking outstanding faults and ensuring they are all resolved.
- Checking free space on the engine and ensure it is adequate
- Checking for any hypervisor ( eg, VMWare ) level faults

It is probably a good idea to regularly check the VDBs and dSources to ensure they are still being used. The ease with which VDBs can be created can also mean people forget to destroy them when they are done, this then is just wasted storage and compute.

Thanks for the great info. Matt. For any hypervisor fault - can it it looked from with Delphix Engine or from ESX?

You will need to look in ESX for those kinds of faults.
