Try this: right-click the installer and choose "run as administrator"

that run as administrator option is not coming when i right click on it..

Are you on a 32-bit version of Windows?

no 64-bit

what version of Windows? Do you have administrative rights on your machine?

it is a demo version where i am trying to add an mysql target environment...

I have admin priviliges

how to install it now..?

I am not sure why you don't see a "run as administrator" menu when you right-click the installer. That is your first step in installing the connector. 

i have downloaded the installer file..next when i right click on it i don't get run as administrator option

Hi Prakash,

You have mentioned Mysql, but did you mean MSSQL?

We support Mysql only on Linux environments and we don't support Windows 7 for MSSQL.

What about if you hold down the shift key, then right-click?

does mysql is not supported in windows environment..?

And to be clear, are you trying to link a MySQL database or a Microsoft SQL Database? Delphix does not support MySQL on Windows.

Ok. See the link in my previous post. I had just assumed that you really meant Microsoft SQL.

like for adding the delphix connector in target environment..

You access it via webpage, just as you do from your desktop.

like using ip address of delphix engine..?

When the connector is properly installed, then you can add the target via the connector. https://docs.delphix.com/display/DOCS50/Adding+a+SQL+Server+Standalone+Target+Environment

Oh, you are using virtualbox. In your case, assuming you had the Windows server configured correctly to be on the same private network as your Delphix Engine, then you would just be able to browse to http://172.16.200.3

in the below doc see step1..how to access Delphix Engine GUI in target environment.?

Using VMware is better or virtual box is better..?

I am trying to install delphiconnector and always recieve the error 1001 "failed to initialize connector parameters". I can ping 192.168.0.29.
I click ok and this had this error information.
