I have to profile a subset of tables owned by oracle schema. And so i have created a new oracle schema that was able to read only that subset of tables by revoking select permissions on tables of the orignal schema that i have not to profile. That is not enough because Delphix connectors seems only be able to read tables owned by an oracle schema. And so
I am going to import on my new schema data from an export from the original schema. Then in the new schema i am going to drop those tables that i won't profile.

    Hello Luigidep,
If you are trying to profile certain set of tables, you can pick only those tables, while creating a ruleset.

No need to create a seperate schema with only required tables, to profile.

Is this the case, or am I missing something?

    Thanks

Yes it is. But if you have to create ruleset by check in only those tables that are useful it  could be very hard work specially when the number of tables involved is of the order of thousands because the guy seems too slow.

    Hi,

You can use filters to limit the listed tables.
