LinuxTarget system not able to discover Delphix Engine

  • 1.  LinuxTarget system not able to discover Delphix Engine

    I have installed successfully Delphix engine and source. But the target system is not able to identify the Delphix engine. Every 60 seconds it is trying to poll to identify the engine. Could you please advice how to resolve this issue.

    Sure. Can you please post the output of the following command as the delphix user on the linuxtarget?

    tail -20 landshark_setup.log

    Please find the below log

    The Linux Target can't see the DelphixEngine. What is the IP address of the linuxtarget and the DelphixEngine? You should be able to see this on the console.

    Linux Target 10.0.2.4

    So you are using Landshark 2.2 and DelphixExpress?

    Yes Landshark 2.2 and DelphixExpress 4.3.1.0

    Ok. As the delphix user on the linuxtarget, what is the output of 

    grep "Network" /home/delphix/landshark_setup.log

    Yes, I have followed the same steps and did not find the expected result in log file as per 11th step.

    Please see Quick Start for Landshark on VirtualBox to get your networking configured.
