HI I am looking for some help in defining my ftp connection to the mainframe. I am trying to mask a sequential mainframe file, and am trying to connect to our mainframe through an FTP connection. I am trying to define the FTP connection, but I am having trouble defining the path to the PDS I want to mask. All I can do is to point it at the root folder. I would like to point it at my pds ('TSO.PMV004.').

Hi Peter, the masking server cannot connect directly to the Z/OS disk via FTP/SFTP.  It can connect to USS disk on the mainframe since it uses an HFS directory.  You can copy your file to USS with an OCOPY statement executed from ISPF option 6 or in a JCL batch process  https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/SSLTBW_2.3.0/com.ibm.zos.v2r3.bpxa500/tsoocopy.htm   Once the file is on USS you can view it in ISPF option 3.17.  You can then build a connector to the USS directory.
