Are there any way to mask JA16EUC with SecureLookup and Mapping algorithm?
Any ideas are welcome!

Hi Hideki,
We have previously masked charset JA16EUC data in an Oracle database, your scenario may differ.

  • Secure Lookup algorithm replaces data in target column with the values in lookup file, data movement and storing is done in UTF-8, we rely on the JDBC driver to do encoding translation, as long as there are no non-printable characters I do not foresee any issues.
  • Segmented Mapping is primarily used for numbers and Keys with ANSI English characters and for columns which have a Unique Index.
Can you please attach a sample of rows with data in JA16EUC charset?
Plese note all Delphix object names ( e.g. ruleset, algorithm etc must be in English)

Hope this helps.

Regards
Hims

Hi Hims,
I got a file from potential customer.  Can you tell me your e-mail address?
