Hi all. Hope I explain my current situation properly.
I have a dSource. It is not physical, it is a virtual dSource in Delphix. From this dSource I have cloned other environments for testing. Whilst testing in the other environments changes were also being made to this dSource. Now I want to rewind the dSource back to a point in time. 
However when I click on the dSource I have no 'rewind' button like I see in the 'child' vfiles.  
I see logsyncs way back to Jun 29th.
Is there a way to rewind my dSource using Delphix?

I'm not sure if I understand what you are trying to do, are you trying to provision a VDB from a previous point in time? A dSource is simply a data source, it ingests data from your source database, logs changes etc and allows you create new VDBs from that data.

As Jaclyn pointed out, dSources are like single source of truth of Physical DB's. As and when the changes are happens on Physical DB's, they get applied to dSources dictated by Snapsync and Logsync policies. You can use them to spin off VDB's to any point in time, based Retention policies, in this case you can go up to June29th. But, one cannot rewind dSource itself.

Thanks for the replies. I explained these things to the developers but not as  succinctly. They restored the source environment on the physical machine in the end and I advised them not to make changes to the dSource and instyead to clone and make the necessary changes on the target.
