Delphix is a storage neutral solution. We don't rely on the underlying storage for snapshots or other parts of the solution.
We have customers running everything from direct attached SSDs through traditional FibreChannel SAN through storage mounted over NFS.
The Delphix Virtual Appliance usually sits on top of VMware when deployed on-prem. We also support KVM, but that is less common in our customer base.
FC SAN from vendors like EMC, HP, IBM, Hitachi, and Netapp is very common in our customer base.
So...we support storage supported by the underlying hypervisor, which tends to be a very extensive list. We do not provide a support matrix for storage, since we don't rely on that component of the stack. We would not integrate with other solutions for snapshots and backup retention, but those components might be leveraged alongside Delphix; for example, we have customers leveraging SAN snapshots to backup the Delphix storage.
