In 4.0, Delphix allows for Hook Operations to help with VDB management. There are 3 Hooks, Pre-Refresh, Post-Refresh and Configure Clone available for use. To Configure Hooks follow this procedure:
Setting Hook Operations through the Delphix Admin Application
To specify hook operations during provisioning, navigate to the Hooks tab of the Provision Wizard.
- Select the hook to edit.
- Click the Plus icon to add a new operation.
- Select the type of operation from the options menu.
- Click the text area and enter the desired command or Expect script.
- Operations can be reordered through drag-and-drop or by clicking the arrow icons.
- Click the Trash icon on an operation to remove it from the list.
- When all hook operations have been set, click Next to continue with the provisioning process.
