This update covers new offerings, features, and functionality changes delivered in August.
Three Key Highlights
Data Control Tower (DCT)
-
VDB Group List and Details Views – DCT now visualizes VDB Groups via a list view found under the “Data” tab. This shows all VDB Groups and associated statuses, platform composition, and the last refresh timestamp. Clicking into a VDB Group’s details will show the combined VDBs as well as critical time and masking details. Please note, additional actions, wizards, and views will be available in future releases.
-
Replica reporting details – DCT can now break down object–specific detail for replication targets to pair with existing details such as the last successfully completed replication. This will provide additional visibility for administrators tracking Disaster Recovery configurations and statuses.
-
Failover and Failback Support – DCT supports failover with failback support on a replica’s detail screen. This enables administrators to identify downed engines and to orchestrate disaster recovery centrally from DCT’s user interface.
-
Discovery Policies (formerly Profile Sets) Read Only – DCT now visualizes existing Discovery Policies (known as Profile Sets) on connected Continuous Compliance engines. This enables administrators to visualize how the engine employs classifiers (or legacy expressions) during sensitive data discovery from a single page.
- Data Vault Replication Policy Configuration – DCT now supports the ability to configure replication profiles for Data Vault Target engines from the UI.
Continuous Compliance
-
SAP Accelerator – We have updated our templates to include the Split Address Algorithm. Now, these values are masked with referential integrity, regardless of whether they are within a single value or split across multiple. The version structure has also been updated to better identify any dependencies.
Hyperscale Compliance
-
Oracle Date Formats – We have introduced a feature that automatically handles multiple date formats within a single job. This removes the limitation from jobs that required all date/timestamp columns in the dataset to have the same date formats. Also starting this release, you no longer need to configure any unload/load date format environment variables to mask date/timestamp columns.

End of Life and Deprecations
-
Oracle LiveSource – We are announcing deprecation of the Oracle LiveSource feature, in favor of the already available Staging Push with Active Data Guard. The deprecation timeline is 6 months, and the feature End of Support is January 2025.
