Hi, I have some general questions to Delphix.

1) Is it possible to compare newly loaded data with the last uploaded data? This to see what has changed and just anonymize this data.

2) Is there dynamic data masking?

3) Does it mask the data the same way over different tables? So "Matthias Müller" gets anonymize with the same value in all tables where "Matthias Müller" appears.

Hello Mic,

1) It is not possible to compare newly loaded data with previously existing data ... but not required either as the performance of our masking can be scaled to satisfy even extreme high performance requirements. We do check on schema changes to detect if the DB might contain new/changed columns.
We had once a beta of CDC (change data capture) to mask only changes but that was to complicated and expensive to maintain. Using our Hyperscale option you can mask even TB sized databases within a short amount of time.
2) With "dynamic" you mean a non-static masking for example by interfacing a JDBC connection? No, we don't do that but it is planned to offer a webservice as dynamic access to masking.
3) Yes, 99% of our masking algorithms are deterministic, means for a given input you get on every execution the same output (unless you want to change the algorithm security key to enforce getting different results, like changing the password every 3 month).
