-
Engine Storage Capacity Management: Data Control Tower now delivers an engine-centric view of storage usage, showing growth trends over time for dSources, VDBs, Held Space, and other metrics. Additionally, administrators can easily reclaim space by identifying and removing unnecessary dSources and VDBs.
-
Managed Admin Inheritance: To improve flexibility and security, admins can now control whether newly created admins can themselves create more admins. Existing admins can also have this ability removed if needed. Previously, any admin could create new admin accounts, which automatically inherited the same privileges.

Release Cadence and Version Change
Delphix has returned to a bimonthly release schedule for Continuous Data, Continuous Compliance, and Data Control Tower starting with the January 2025 releases. The version naming also follows a new format: YYYY.R.M.P (Year.Release.Maintenance.Patch). For example, the January release will be 2025.1.0.0, and March will be 2025.2.0.0. Hyperscale Compliance will continue with monthly releases but adopt the new naming scheme.
Data Connector Documentation and Downloads Migration
We have moved connector documentation from the Delphix Continuous Data to the Delphix Ecosystem documentation site. This shift will enable us to version our connector documentation independently of engine releases. To match, connector downloads will move within the Delphix Downloads Portal’s Ecosystem section.
