Data transfer between Continuous Data environments is now more secure with NFS & iSCSI encryption support. 

Snapshots and Bookmarks are now presented in a unified view on the DCT VDB Timeline. 

The MySQL Continuous Data connector is now certified for AWS RDS and AWS RDS Aurora.  

Snapshots and Bookmarks on the Timeline – The VDB timeline now presents snapshots and bookmarks together in chronological order. This updated presentation makes it easier for any user to understand the bookmark's context and the rough time a refresh will take to complete from the Log Delta time. 

Oracle dSource Hook Management – Pre Sync, Pre LogSync, and Post Sync hooks can be created, edited, reordered, and deleted from the dSource's Hooks tab. 

VDB-to-Bookmark Tag Inheritance – The default permission model has been updated so that users who have Edit Tags permission on a VDB will also have Edit Tags permission on the VDB’s bookmarks.  

Data Classifier support – All Classifiers and Expressions, from any connected Continuous Compliance engine, can be viewed on the Data Classifier tab. This enables administrators to better monitor their classifier configurations and easily share details with security teams. 

Cockroach DB Connector – For enhanced usability, we have added Cockroach DB to the user interface picklist within the Database Connector wizard. 

Improved automated sensitive data discovery (ASDD) accuracy for files – ASDD now aggregates the discovery results across files of the same format within a discovery job before making sensitive element assignments.  

Automated handling of Microsoft SQL Server partitioned indexes – Hyperscale now automates the handling of partitioned indexes (clustered and non-clustered), ensuring that partition indexes are dropped before load starts and created again once data is loaded back into the target database, saving users scripting time as well as improving overall job performance. 

Handling of WARNING status for Continuous Compliance Jobs – Hyperscale Compliance now handles a new job status. The behavior of Hyperscale Jobs with Continuous Compliance jobs in the new WARNING status is controlled via a flag added to the Hyperscale Job configurations. NFS and iSCSI Encryption – The data transfer between Continuous Data and target/staging environments takes place through NFS & iSCSI. In our continuous effort to maintain the highest security standards, with this release we are introducing the ability to encrypt the iSCSI traffic.  

Auto Restart of Oracle VDBs and VPDBs – The previous version of Continuous Data (24.0.0.0) supports the automatic restart for single-instance (i.e. non-RAC) environments only. We enhanced this capability to allow auto-restart of VDBS, VPDBS, and PDBS in Oracle RAC environments when the nodes are restarted. 

Windows Connector Cipher Enhancements – We are enhancing the user experience and security of configuring the Windows connectors ciphers.  

MySQL on AWS Support – Certified MySQL on Amazon Linux 2 host environments and the Staging Push linking strategy for AWS RDS and RDS Aurora.  

Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) – Added support for specifying a second Oracle EBS Application Tier to support linking from disaster recovery sites. In addition, the Application Tier password updates now occur following the Enable/Disable operations to hasten the rotation process.
