Hello,
I believe the only replication related commands are for creating replication specifications ( dx_ctl_replication ) or listing them ( dx_get_replication ). There is also a command you can run to get detailed engine capacity information ( dx_get_capacity ).
I don't think these will really help if you don't know how much space your replication specification will consume on the target engine. There is a new feature request that I have added your organization to ( IDEA-1224 - Create Replication Spec should tell user how much space will be used ).
There are also a couple of related bugs I have associated your organization with that would help facilitate your request ( DLPX-90151 & DLPX-85917, no ETA).
Thanks,
Neal

Subject: Monitor Continuous Data Replication
Hi,
is there a dxtoolkit command to monitor replication data transfer (part of Continuous Data) and report on available target space ?
I'd like to spot potential issues (before they occur) with the target running out of or having insufficient space to receive an update causing replication data transfer to not start.
Here's an example
