Hi David,
If this is just vDBs then you should just need to copy the wallet files over. If the wallet does not auto-open after copying across then you may need to recreate the auto-open wallet which is documented here:
https://cd.delphix.com/docs/latest/provisioning-a-vdb-from-an-encrypted-oracle-databa
I would recommend taking a backup of the current wallet files on the target incase you need to rewind or refresh to a snapshot prior to the source wallet password changes.
Then take a fresh snapshot of the dSource and then the next time you refresh to this snapshot or later snapshots it will use the latest wallet files you have copied across.
If this is a vPDB then
Apart from copying the latest wallet files to the target "Parent Database TDE Keystore Location" you woul also need to edit the "Parent Keystore TDE Password" for the vPDB.
You can do this in the GUI by:
- Selecting the vPDB
- Clicking on the configuration option for the vPDB
- Clicking the pencil to the right of source database
- Editing the Parent Database TDE Keystore Password
Again I would recommend taking a backup of the current wallet files incase you need to refresh the vPDBs to a point in time prior to the wallet change.
I hope this answers your query.
Many Thanks
Darren

Subject: Oracle Wallet Password Update
We will be updating the Oracle Wallet pw on our source DB, apart from copying the new wallet entries to our child VDBs is there any particular configuration/change that needs to be done in Delphix for the dSource, or do we just need to run a dSource sync one the source DB wallet pw has changed?
