Hi Rahim,
Thank you so much for your thoughtful message and for taking the time to share both your concerns and your continued support.
First and foremost, I want to reassure you - we absolutely recognize the immense value built up in the Delphix Community over the years. We've taken care to identify and preserve the most viewed posts and frequently asked questions, and these are currently being migrated into our official Documentation, Knowledge Base, and Marketing pages. We're committed to ensuring that this valuable knowledge doesn't vanish but is instead made even more accessible in structured and sustainable formats.
Your feedback on the new community portal is heard and appreciated. You've raised some very fair points about UI, capabilities, and user experience. While we're still in the early stages of the transition, we absolutely plan to evolve and improve the portal over time. This includes expanding the number of discussion rooms and topics as engagement grows. Our intention was to avoid fragmenting conversations too early, but rest assured - the structure will grow with the community.
Thank you again for your candid feedback and ongoing contributions. It means a lot to us. I'm personally looking forward to continuing to work with you and supporting the great work you and the community are doing.
Warm regards,
Marty Ewings

Subject: The Delphix Community is moving to the Perforce Community Portal
Hi Marty,
It is so sad seeing the Delphix Community and all this gathered and shared knowledge disappearing into the void of "rm -rf *".
At the same time, thanks a lot for letting everyone know about the new community portal. I have checked in and logged into the related community pages.
Finding the chance, I would also like to provide my view and experience of the new portal: it does not provide the same capabilities as the one we have here, the customer experience might have been better, discussion topics will be dispersed everywhere, looks like it's gonna be difficult to look for past info or questions, and of course it will take time for the people join and start contributing. I can say that Perforce engineering team is amazing delivering and updating these great products every day, but the customer experience (such as functionality, UI, etc, not the team) in areas like support portal, community group might have been better, there are a lot of areas that improvement is possible.
Anyway, also in this post, allow me to share my thanks to whole Delphix (and Perforce) team for the product and the experience so far. Hopefully we'll continue working together and helping customers out there.

Starting the 29th of May our new Community space will be available. On July 31, 2025, we will decommission this existing Platform.
After this date, you will no longer be able to post or interact here. But don't worry - we have designed Community Groups to give you an even better, more unified space to connect about Delphix and other Perforce products and services.
Watch this short video to learn how to access the new Delphix and Perforce Community Groups:
