    I see there is a mismatch in the storage utilization report generated from dxtoolkit (dx_get_appliance) and when I check utilization in Delphix Dashboard, its huge difference.

    In Delphix Dashboard its showing : 76.9% used
    In Dxtoolkit its showing 77.58% used

    Because of this variance we are facing challenges to plan for storage based on the reports and its major concern (as the allocation is huge). Please check why dxtoolkit output is not identical to Dashboard actual usage and suggest how it can be fixed?

    Hi Sushil,

    dx_get_appliance is using an API from system area.
    Could you please login to CLI, go to system and run ls. Then check values of 

    storageTotal: 30.03GB
    storageUsed: 7.46GB

    and compare with Dxtoolkit result ? 

    As far as I remember GUI is not showing a size of the internal Delphix database and there is bug open 
    for it.

    Thats correct! 
    I just checked in CLI and its same as DxToolkit results. 

    So, I need to submit a ticket with Delphix Support on this open Bug and request for fix.
