  • 1.  Cluster MS SQL on Delphix Engine

    Hi All,

    This is my 1st time configuring Delphix in Philippines, our customers environment is a Windows cluster MS SQL Always on configuration. Currently im trying to configure the environment, they gave me the windows cluster IP. but upon creating the environment, got a network error, the production server and delphix engine is under same network, tried to do latency check output seems good.

    Hi Allen. Can you ensure that DNS is working properly? Run an nslookup for 172.25.88.63. Does it return the name of the cluster?

    Hi Adam, DNS is working properly, on the workstation that I'm using, I can ping the DE via its name, also the 172.25.88.63 returns the name of the cluster. But when I try the lookup command on DE, tried to use the remoteHost parameter, it says no such name, but when I use the remoteAddress parameter, it seems ok. Any thoughts? looking forward to your swift response, Thanks!

    Is your workstation and the DE pointed to the same DNS server?

    Hi Adam,
    Thanks for your help, We've already resolve the issue. The DB admin forgot to check the
    VIEW ANY DEFINITION
    VIEW SERVER STATE
