  • 1.  admin portal problem when Delphix server setup with NAT

    Hi, 

    I run landshark on Fushion 8.

    I have set up target and source env with NAT.
    When i set up thet delphix server i think it was don automaticly with Bridged (Autodetect).

    With autodetect on the delphix admin partal works.
    With Nat on i can ping the delphix server from the source and target, and the initial set up of the environment works.

    But i should have Nat set on all VMs as i understand, so i don ́t have to switch settings between sync of source/target and delphix server, and be able to run the delphix admin portal.

    Is there a way to get this right, or do i have to delete the VMs and start all over again?
    And the assure NAT is set for the WMs before first turning them on.

    Hey Per, I am not sure I understand what the current issue is.

    From what I gather:
    1) You originally didn't have everything on NAT
    2) Now you do

    Is everything working now? If not, I advise to power all three VM's down, ensure they are all on NAT, and then power them on. Landshark should detect any changes and repair them, if necessary.

    Hi, 

    sorry for the bad description.

    1) yes (Only target and source)
    2) yes

    Now i can Ping the Delphix Server, but i am not able to connect to the delphix admin portal by giving the ipadress in the web browser. (By giving 192.168.2.131)

    Any suggestions?

    can you ping the admin portal IP from your computer?

    Ok. So, is the IP address of your Delphix Engine 192.168.2.131? What are the IP's of your Linux source and Linux Target? If you are on a Mac or Linux-based computer, please give me the output of the following two commands:
    ifconfig -a
    netstat -rn

    If you are on a Windows-based computer, please give me the output of the following two commands:
    ipconfig /all
    netstat -rn

    To close the loop, the issue was with the way Per's fusion was configured for NAT that conflicted with other networks to which his Mac was connected.
