Delphix Products

Hi, What is Delphix DBA and how that differs from Oracle DBA?. We have a requirement for Delphix DBA in my project and i do not know anything about that. It would be helpful for me, if some anyone can share the docs/papers/processes to learn/manage Delphix DBA.. Many Thanks,

While there is no Delphix DBA role within the Delphix Engine itself, there is a Delphix Administrator role has permissions to manage a Delphix engine. A Delphix Administrator can manage Delphix virtual databases like how an Oracle DBA manages Oracle databases.

We have online documentation that you may find useful. You can find information on being a Delphix System Administrator in our help article "System Administrators and Delphix Users" and our SysAdmin help section.

To get started, you could take a look at the Delphix Engine Quick Start guide to get an understanding on how to work with the Delphix Engine.
