Yes, definitely.
I would recommend to check the documentation of dxtoolkit from here https://github.com/delphix/dxtoolkit

Hi Rahim,
I appreciate the quick response.
Can that be done via a dxtoolkit function since I'd like to automate it ?
It's really the suppression of system faults I'm interested in . The OS patching was just an example.
I see dx_ctl_env but I think that would still allow faults to be generated.
Thanks

Hi Piers,
Did you consider disabling of an environment right before the patching and enabling after? This might be a quite simple and effective solution.

Is it possible to apply blackouts in the Delphix Continuous Data platform to stop System Faults (Critical/warning) from being reported during specified periods ?
For example if there is OS patching taking place and the source environment is down. Delphix will produce a raft of alerts related to this.
Can these be suppressed via a gui schedule or dxtoolkit command ?
