Hello,
I'm not familiar with the message "SQL Instance has been set to MIXED mode, restart required" from the Delphix side of the fence. It sounds like maybe you got that message from SQL Server after changing its authentication mode?
When you are linking a dSource, you are presented with several choices:
So whether you use the database user/domain user/environment user, they need to have the appropriate permissions:
- https://documentation.delphix.com/docs/quick-start-guide-for-sql-server-microsoft-sql-server-on-windows#recommended-source-windows-user-requirement
I hope this helps answer your question.
Thanks,
Neal

Subject: Delphix Environments- SQL Server authentication Method
I am new to delphix and I have a delphix engine which has linked SQL database using environments and dSource. My question is I have got a Compliance issue have been raised for the delphix engine which links the SQL database and the error is something like this "SQL Instance has been set to MIXED mode, restart required".
The reason for the error is because of Windows authentication in mssql is mixed.
I am not sure what steps need to be taken in order to resolve this issue.
Is there a different authentication method which needs to be take care of while linking the SQL instance?
