  • 1.  Delphix Masking - Can we run Update Query from Ruleset

    Hello All, 

    Kindly let me know is there any way to run the update query from Delphix masking rule set.

    Currently, update query has been executed from file, after completion of masking job.

    But, if i would like to execute it from rule set then how i can execute it 

    Req: i need to execute below query, currently i can execute as a postscript from file.

    UPDATE TABLE SET RC_SUMMARY= CASE_ID where RC_SUMMARY is not null;

    Commit;

    Kindly let me know if anyone have idea on this

    Hi Pankaj,

    I understand that you are able to run the UPDATE statement after the Masking transformation completed (via postscript). You could run it before the Masking job starts via a prescript but you cannot run it anywhere else during the masking process.
    Could you please clarify your use case and what is the current requirement?
