I am writing about the setup and configuration of dx_analyze. We do not have the ability to run excel sheets with embedded macros, but it looks like there are 2 other options (python or Docker). Can you confirm this is true? In the Dx_Analyze_V8 documentation, there is only mention of the excel solution.<o:p></o:p>

If this can be set up without excel, we would like to know the recommended setup and config directions for Python and/or Docker.<o:p></o:p>

Hi Brian,

The Excel version of dxanalyze does use macros and is more suitable for the Windows environment. The macros, security, and compatibility version has changed from Microsoft from time to time and may cause some issues.
There is a python/docker-based open-source version of dxanalyze a.k.a pydxanalyze. The following links can help you to try pydxanalyze.
