    Hi,

Can someone please advise a delphix out-of-the-box algorithm to mask SSNs with leading zeroes? SSN_TK algorithm is not masking any SSN values that have leading zeroes. The customer feels that the values in the SSN field with zeroes are valid for business reasons.

    Best regards,

Delphix PS offer a plugin called UTILITY that has a framework called Leading. Here you can specify any character (in your case 0) where the consecutive list of leading characters (zeros) is preserved and the remaining part is chained to an algorithm of type String for masking. The result gets concatenated with the preserved zeros and returned as final result.

To mask an SSN you can choose either any (configurable) CharacterMapping instance ... or use the Delphix PS provided SSN plugin that contains country specific SSN frameworks for Canada, Switzerland, Germany, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Sweden, Turkey, UK and US.
Please get in touch with your Delphix customer success representative and feel free to refer to me.

    Best regards,

    Tino
