There are two ways to do this, through the GUI and through CLI
GUI:
1. Go to Manage>Databases>My Databases
2. Select the VDB to disable
3. On the back of the dSource Card, move the slider control from Enabled to Disabled
4. Click Yes to acknowledge the warning.
* When you are ready to enable the VDB again, move the slider control from Disabled to Enabled.
CLI:
1. cd source
2. ls
3. select <vdb name>
4. stop (or start) as needed
