Dear Delphix Customers,
We are reaching out to inform you that Delphix is deprecating certain versions of Delphix Continuous Data connectors beginning on April 13, 2023. The affected Connector versions use obsolete frameworks or libraries for which new security fixes and functionality are not available. Newer versions of the Connectors and related functionality will offer improved security, performance, and reliability. On April 13th, the affected Connector versions will enter the Extended Support phase, meaning that no new fixes or workarounds will be possible. We can not guarantee compatibility with the Delphix Continuous Data Engine v10 and greater.
The affected data source connectors with their minimum and suggested versions include:

Frequently Asked Questions
Why are you ending support on these connectors? Why should I upgrade?
There are two reasons why we have made this decision. First, we have been steadily growing our vSDK framework since its release nearly two years ago. This approach has introduced additional features and solved many bugs when compared to the legacy architecture (Lua) framework. Second, early framework versions were based on Python 2 which has been out of support since January 2020. By migrating to the latest versions you can ensure more features, bug fixes, and security improvements.
How do I know if I am using a supported connector?
Navigate to Delphix Management > Manage > Plugins and identify your installed connector versions. If using IBM Db2, Oracle EBS, PostgreSQL, or SAP HANA connectors, view KBA1003 for complete support matrices.
If using OBI or MS SQL Server BI, only the respective v4.1.8.1+ and v1.5.6 are under primary support. As we look to the future, we anticipate Staging Push to be the preferred ingestion strategy for these two connectors. However, no formal end-of-life date has been set.
All versions of the MySQL for Windows connector have reached their Extended Support phase.
Please work with your CSM for connector upgrade details and plans.
What are my upgrade options?
By having an active Delphix license agreement, you are entitled to all releases of the IBM Db2, Oracle EBS, PostgreSQL, and SAP HANA connectors in Primary Support. The OBI and MS SQL Server BI connectors require a separate Select Connector license agreement. It is always suggested that you upgrade connectors to the latest supported version.
The Staging Push model, for OBI and MS SQL Server BI, is a preferred, but optional, feature that is native to the Delphix Engine and requires customer ownership to monitor and handle restore updates to the staging database. It does not require a separate Select Connector license agreement.
There are no upgrade options available for MySQL for Windows.
In all scenarios, please work with your CSM for specific upgrade details. If you run into trouble with connector upgrades, the Delphix Support team is available to assist.
Will my dSources and VDBs be preserved following the upgrade or migration?
IBM Db2, PostgreSQL, Oracle EBS 12.2, and OBI connector upgrades will preserve all dSources and VDBs.
However, those upgrading the SAP HANA connector, migrating to Staging Push, or migrating from EBS 12.1 to 12.2 requires recreating dSources and associated VDBs. During these migrations, the original dSources and VDBs are preserved. You may delete the original dSources and VDBs at any time, but we recommend maintaining them until validation is complete.
I use Oracle EBS 12.1. Will you still support me?
Oracle stopped supporting EBS 12.1 in December 2021. Therefore, with Delphix’s v6.0.12.0 engine release, we did the same with our EBS 12.1 connector. To continue Primary Support for Oracle EBS, you must upgrade your servers to v12.2 and then install the Oracle EBS 12.2 connector.
