i have created a postgresql environment for source and target..while adding the dsource it creates the above error...source database is  3.25GB...


Error

Cannot sync database "pgdSrc1", data file "/domain0/group-38/pgsql_db_container-10/pgsql_timeflow-10/temp/backup/base.tar" is corrupted.

 

Error Code

exception.db.pgsql.file.corrupted

Review the errors and try again. If the problem persists, contact Delphix Support.

Hi Prakash, I've got the same error in the past, and after some troubleshoot I found that I had some network configuration problems on my source and target machine this causes some network packets to get lost. This explains the corruption of the tar copie. Please verify you network configuration on both source and target and try to relink the database from scratch. Regards, Mouhssine

Recent version of Postgresql (9.3.11+, 9.4.6+, 9.5+) have changed the implementation of checksums for TAR files that are used during the copy. This has caused some versions of the Delphix Engine to incorrectly report data corruption.

The problem has been fixed in Delphix Engines 5.0.2+ and 5.1+.

Can you indicate which versions of the Delphix Engine and Postgresql database you are using?
