Delete Record Types error "Cannot delete record type assigned to file fields

  • 1.  Delete Record Types error "Cannot delete record type assigned to file fields

    While deleting record types in Inventory for File masking there are multiple record types ans I would like to delete them.

    The problem is that we are getting error "Cannot delete record type assigned to file fields"

    Please help

    Hi Adee,

    In order to delete the record type you have to go in the inventory detail and delete all defined fields one by one, once done click on the "record type" button and you can delete it.
