Hi Dear Members/Experts,

I recently came across the requirement to mask JSON (CLOB) column in one of the tables and tried using Document type masking algorithm while creating one JSON file. Imported it and used in Inventory as an algorithm and the further file format section assigned out-of-the-box algorithms against one of the filed existing in that file which required masking in the CLOB rows.

Could anyone please assist with below scenario:

we need to filter out the output for this MSG_TXT column (containing JSON) with where clause (through custom SQL option in the rule set) and once Delphix filter out the row meeting where clause, masking is needed on filtered results.

Filtered results of rows having similar length and format for all rows in JSON format and I tried masking it but didn't work for me. Here is the filter result sample:

This is how I imported the JSON format file under file-format section of settings page to use it as algorithm for masking:

This is how I used it for masking:

further in file-format section, applied the masking:

But the job is failing and not working, not sure if I have opted the correct steps.

Attached is the filtered rows sample , required masking and the file I Imported to use under File-format section for document type masking (JSON_fileformat.txt--saving here in txt format as JSON attachment not accepted).
