Hi Experts,

my client has load balancer configured with multiple Ldap server, is it possible to use load balancer hostname while configuring Ldap in Delphix GUI  instead of IP address of Ldap server ?

From some of the reading I've come across in looking for an answer for you, I see that we support clustering, but that you will need to open a ticket with our support team for guidance through the process. 

If I've missed the point, I apologize. I do understand that a load balancer does not necessitate a cluster.

Hello Parvez-

I have personally worked with customers who deployed LDAP behind a load balancer; it can work, but if the LDAP servers present distinct SSL certificates this can cause issues, so it would be important to add all server certificates to the Engine truststore. 

The certificate import can be done through the LDAP certificate import process with multiple certificate import steps, or manually added through System Setup - Network Security panel.

Hi Sean,

Apologies for delay in reply, I gave a check at client end and all certificates are the same, infact same cert is updated in LB, still while using hostname of LB it gives error.

but if I use IP Address of any Ldap server, it does not complain.

If you raise a support case and provide a support bundle, we will be able to review any errors received from the LDAP server
