JSON Field Masking: We expanded masking support for JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) semi-structured data to values stored in database columns. This adds to existing support for JSON files introduced in Continuous Compliance 6.0.15.

Continuous Data 

Source Sizing for Postgres and IBM Db2: We've added new functionality in 6.0.17 to help teams better manage Postgres and IBM Db2 ingest volumes. This adds to existing source sizing support already available for Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and SAP Adaptive Server Enterprise (Sybase ASE) sources. Teams can quickly view and automate the use of database source sizes using APIs with scripts and other tools.  

Continuous Vault Enhancements: We have enhanced security controls for Continuous Vault to prevent accidental or malicious data loss in corner cases. 

Environment Variables in Hooks: This release enables users to access environment variables defined by plugin connectors in DLPX_DATA_DIRECTORY for hook operations.

Postgres Certification: We have certified compatibility to Postgres 13 with Linux SUSE15 SP3 running on IBM Power Servers and Postgres 10 with Ubuntu 16.0.4. 

Continuous Compliance

XML Field Masking: This release introduces masking fields with semi-structured XML data. Teams can assign masking algorithms from Delphix's extensive masking library or build algorithms for customized formats and schemas.   

Microsoft Intelligent Data Platform: In close partnership with Microsoft, we have launched a new integration with Microsoft Intelligent Data Platform for customers to quickly discover and mask sensitive data using Azure Extract Transform Load (ETL) workflows. With Delphix, teams can quickly automate the delivery of compliant data between any Microsoft Azure Data Facotry (ADF) or Azure Synapse Analytics datastores. 

Containerized Masking: 6.0.17 introduces new container images in addition to our existing appliance virtual appliance image. Container images include core masking functionality, but have some differences in support.  

Hyperscale Job Sync: Hyperscale Compliance 3.0 adds the ability to quickly load masking jobs from Continuous Compliance engines and adds improvements for managing jobs.

Data Control Tower (DCT)^*

Global User Access Management: October's release of DCT 2.2 introduces new global user access management APIs and UI screens for authentication, role management, and engine operations management. We are adding advanced access management features to DCT 3.0 in mid-November. This includes integration with Identity Providers (IdP) for Single Sign On (SSO) and Active Directory (AD) for user/group management.

Web User Interface: DCT 2.2 introduces new visual interfaces for administrative tasks such as login, getting started, and API Key Management. IT Operations teams can leverage the UI to review reports on data assets such as VDB Inventory, dSource usage, and global storage capacity. There are additional drill-down screens for monitoring health of the underlying infrastructure operating Continuous Data engines.  

Continuous Compliance APIs: We've recently made it easier for organizations to meet service level agreements (SLAs) for data compliance masking jobs. New APIs in DCT 2.2 enable IT Operations teams to quickly migrate masking jobs from busy Continuous Compliance engine queues to new or idle engines in a cluster. Teams can tag compliance jobs, monitor masking job activity, and orchestrate the relocation of masking job dependencies such as algorithms and configurations.

Kubernetes and OpenShift: We've made it easier to deploy DCT in orchestrated container environments by adding support for Kubernetes (K8s) and OpenShift. This adds to existing support for Docker Compose.

ServiceNow Integration 2.0: We have enhanced our ServiceNow Integration in October with additional Delphix actions. Teams can now refresh and rollback VDBs within VDB groups, provision new VDBs, add environments, create bookmarks & snapshots, and view monitoring dashboards. 

Multicloud Applications^**

Salesforce Data Protect and Version 3.0: We have added support for Finance Cloud and Healthcare Cloud extending our existing support for the Sales module. We have also improved restore performance for complex/highly customized implementations and are providing the Rehearsal Tool (automatic enable/disable metadata components during restores) as a Python library.
